My name is Geoff Johnson and I am based in Ardrishaig.
With over 30 years experience in the IT business I am well-placed to tackle a wide variety of issues with your computer system.
The modern PC is a very complex beast involving complicated interactions amongst the basic hardware, peripherals, operating system, programming and applications software. You may think a modern car looks complicated under the bonnet but it's nothing compared to what is going on within even the cheapest Windows PC! Therefore no single person has a truly complete understanding of how every part in this little box works. Now put that machine onto a network and the complexity is further multiplied.
So, when looking for someone to advise you, where should you turn?
With all my experience of specifying, developing, supporting and using a wide range of computer systems and networks I have probably forgotten more on this subject than you may ever know. Luckily I have also acquired well-honed skills for searching the morass of information (and non-information) in the IT world in order to come up with effective solutions to a wide range of problems. Then, just as importantly, I also possess the skills to implement them.
